...and believe it or not, it is the two newer vehicles....
2012 Focus. Last week we started experiencing an intermittent no crank issue. Turn the key and nothing. After some research it appear it’s either a ground issue with the battery or the Transmission Control Module. I’ll try the battery ground first. Should take a few minutes, but knowing how my luck is I’m quite confident it’s the module. Luckily it’s a known issue and Ford will cover it for free on vehicles with up to 150k miles. I’m at a scant 42k.
2008 Dodge Nitro R/T. The evaporator core for the A/C is shot. $60 for the part. Problem is to get to it you have to remove THE ENTIRE DASHBOARD.... I ain’t got time for that so I’ll pay..... 8 hour labor estimate..... Crap.
Ferrari for your time....

My wife has drives a 2012 Focus and the car is actually a nightmare. We’ve had so many stupid little problems with it. There’s been 3 different times where the car wouldn't shift out of park and it was repaired after each occurrence.

We’re thinking of going to 4..... Get rid of the Focus and Nitro for something else. Even after taking away the little amount I have left on the loan for the Focus, we have about 17K worth of vehicle to trade in on those 2.... Problem is who’s gonna give full trade-in with known issues? Big ones at that. A/C is rather important to most car shoppers....
